Our annual Fall and Spring Recitals
give
each student the experience of performing for family,
friends, and community.
FMS teachers believe it is important that every student
receive
the same amount of applause at the end of a performance.
Families and guests are asked to stay for the full recital
in order to foster respect and support for each performer.
Student Performances and Achievements:
This past
year our students performed live on television, presented
two formal recitals, and won ribbons at local and regional
fiddle competitions.
One of our students won first-place in The Bland Music
Scholarship Competition
and students are advancing their seating in
The Roanoke Youth Symphony Orchestra.
